Nancy Pelosi Just Ran Out Of Time In Washington – This Week’s ‘X Date’ Could Sink The Democratic Party
It’s no secret that Democrats had a small window of time to get their agenda done. But it looks like the window is even smaller than they realized. With 2022 around the corner, they need to ram their socialist plans through now. The closer they get to the midterms, the less likely many Democrats will support Biden’s radical scheme.
Worse still, it seems like few Americans support this massive socialist takeover of our economy.
From Rasmussen Reports:
Most voters are against the $3.5 trillion “reconciliation” budget bill now pending in Congress, and are also opposed to raising the national debt ceiling.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that just 36% of Likely U.S. Voters support passage of the $3.5 trillion spending bill… Fifty-three percent (53%) are opposed to passage of the $3.5 trillion spending measure, including 41% who Strongly Oppose passage.
Those are some very bad numbers for Pelosi. Plus, it seems she is making it much worse by refusing to even discuss the huge price tag this bill comes with. Her latest comments are almost as bad as “we have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it.” From YouTube:
Now, Pelosi and the left are looking at High Noon. This “X Date” is make or break for their toxic agenda.
From MSN:
The uncertainty in Treasury’s projections over when the government will default — a deadline known by budget experts as the “X Date” — exacerbates the danger of the ongoing congressional brinkmanship over the nation’s fiscal soundness.
Not only is Pelosi trying to push Biden’s radical spending bill, but she is trying to raise the debt ceiling and keep the government-funded. Instead of trying to do the most crucial task first—keeping the government open—she is trying to foolishly tie all these agendas together, a task that is sure to fail.
To make matters, worse, Pelosi is demanding this all happen this week, even as leading Democrats in the Senate want to push back voting until next year. Manchin said he will not support the $3.5 trillion deal right now, saying it should wait until 2022.
Pelosi isn’t doing herself any favors, either. When asked about the mammoth price tag of Biden’s bill, she says we shouldn’t bother with “numbers and dollars.” Uh… what? This is a spending bill. The most important thing to discuss is the amount it will cost us.
But the writing is on the wall. If Democrats can’t make a deal now, America could default, leading to a much worse recession. The government might shut down, for who knows how long. And Americans will officially blame the left for it.
After all, we have a Democrat-controlled House, Senate, and White House. If they can’t get this done, it’s all on them. Pelosi could compromise, make deals, and do what is best for America. But she is incapable of doing that.
It’s not a matter of if Democrats fail, but how badly.
