GOP Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa reached her limit with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ bumbling at the border and the desperate attempt to spin the crisis away by saying the border is secure with zero conviction, “we have a secure border in that that is a priority for any nation,” Kamala said.

Enter Joni Ernst: “I am dumbfounded that we have an administration that is ignoring the humanitarian crisis and the risk this poses to all communities across the United States as they allow those illegal immigrants to cross over the southern border and then release them into the interior.

“We know that there are folks on the terrorist watch list that have been apprehended. How many of them got away? I mean, these are concerns that we have with the fentanyl crisis, with human trafficking, with, of course, weapons trafficking.

“All of this is extremely concerning to everyday Americans as they see crime continue to rise all across the United States,” she said.

“Kamala Harris’ statement is laughable. I wish the vice president would actually go to the border and speak with CPB agents, the National Guard and Texas law enforcement to find out what is really going on,” she added.

During a recent appearance on Meet the Press Harris tried to claim the border was secure and whatever problems we do have are Trump’s fault.

Host Chuck Todd said: “Final topic here. We’re here in Texas, I want to ask you about the border. Would you call the border secure?”

Kamala said: “I think that there is no question that we have to do what the president and I asked Congress to do. The first request we made, pass a bill to create a pathway to citizenship.

“The border is secure, but we also have a broken immigration system, in particular over the last four years before we came in, and it needs to be fixed.”

Todd said:

“We’re gonna have 2 million people cross this border for the first time ever. You’re confident this border is secure?”

Kamala said:

“We have a secure border in that that is a priority for any nation, including ours and our administration.

“But there are still a lot of problems that we are trying to fix.

“Given the deterioration that happened over the last four years.

“We also have to put in place a law and a plan for a pathway for citizenship for the millions of people who are here and are prepared to do what is legally required to gain citizenship.

“We don’t have that in place because people are playing politics in a state like this and in Congress.

“By the way, you want to talk about bipartisanship, on an issue that at one time was a bipartisan issue. Both in terms of Republican senators and even presidents.”
